The Story
From the fields
of Mulmur
In the heart of the Purple Hills of Mulmur, near the quiet hamlet of Lavender, our story unfolds among rolling fields, crisp breezes, and the steady rhythm of orchard life. Walking Crow Cider Company was born from this landscape — a place where nature, tradition, and a touch of whimsy come together.
Like all good stories, ours started at home on the farm. Every autumn, after the harvest, the fields would come alive again. Birds gathered to pick through the leftover seeds, the air filled with their chatter. From her favourite spot at the farmhouse window, Scout — our loyal Lurcher — would watch them with quiet curiosity.
She paid little mind to most creatures, but when the crows came walking across the stubbled fields, something about their bold, purposeful stride caught her attention. She'd stand alert, tail twitching, and give her signature bark of approval.
It was those crows — grounded, determined, and a little mischievous — that gave us our name. They reminded us that the beauty of farm life doesn't always reside in the spectacular, but in the honest work that happens close to the earth.
At Walking Crow Cider Company, we craft small-batch ciders rooted in the rhythm of our orchard and our community. Every bottle is an expression of this land — the hills, the soil, the fruit, and the stories that grow here.
Because sometimes, the most remarkable things don't fly overhead. They walk across the field, right in front of you.
"Like the walking crows, our cider celebrates life's simple, real moments — the kind you taste in every crisp sip."
